The Ionian Contemporary Animation Festival ICONA 2024, organized for sixth year by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University had a great participation with more than 1100 movie submissions. The Movie Selection Committee in collaboration with Art Director of the Festival Konstantinos Tiligadis, Deputy Head of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts, continues its significant work until November 21st, 2024 when the participants will be notified with further details.

The aim of the Ionian Contemporary Animation Festival ICONA 2024 is to present the best from the field of animation from all around the world. ICONA 2024 is organized and promoted by the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University, and it will take place in hybrid mode from December 5th to December 8th 2024. Extended submission deadline: October 22nd, 2024.
