In a future where robots dominate humanity, all carbon-based life forms are strictly controlled. Plants, being unnecessary for the robots, are eradicated. Day after day, the girl monotonously makes artificial flowers for the robots. One day, while transporting fake flowers, the girl finds a seed. With real flowers almost entirely destroyed by the robots, the girl decides to keep the seed and let it grow. However, a surprise inspection by the robots catches her off guard. To protect the flower from being discovered, the girl engages in a series of battles of wits with the robots...
