A man begins to suffer from a strange eye disease that threatens the foundations of his life. He decides to resort to a surgery but the failure of it drags him into frustration and despair. In the moment of greatest alienation, when it seems that strangeness has enveloped everything around him, he discovers that perhaps the foundations of his world are deeper than he thought, that perhaps there is beauty and poetry in the way the world reveals itself before his eyes.
