In a colorless world, a man feels inferior about his blue birthmark. One day, he sees a gigantic blue chick—visible only to him.And his life changes from that moment on... In China, dyed chicks often symbolize weakness and illness, as they cannot escape the fate of being abandoned by society; thus, the protagonist identifies his fate with that of the chick. However, when others begin to reveal their hidden colors, he realizes that what seems like a flaw may actually be a person's most shining characteristic. In the end, the protagonist accepted and embraced their "imperfections"; in this world, both you and I are outsiders.
