The third Ionian Contemporary Animation Festival ICONA 2021, organized and promoted by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University had exceeded our expectations with more than 1.500 submissions.

Although competition was fierce, the committee's work was successfully completed with a selection of 266 films - 150 short films and 116 student films – from 47 countries.

First of all, we would like to thank everyone who submitted their films to the ICONA festival and congratulate the final contestants.
